The majority of eye diseases are evidence of adaptive disfunction. The course of an eye disease depends on the patient’s general well-being and presence of concomitant conditions.

Dynamic electric neurostimulation (DENS) delivered by the External Paraorbital Electrode is regarded as a constituent part of the prophylactic and therapeutic program in ophthalmopathy treatment.

The stimulation of the paraorbital area has a healthy influence on visual functions as well as optimizes general health.

Recommended methods of External Therapeutic Paraorbital Electrode use in Ophthalmology

Diagnosis:  Asthenopia (visual fatigue against the continuous and intensive stress at reading, writing, computer work, etc.).

Duration session: 3–5 minutes.

Stimulation frequency (Hz): 10, 20 Hz or 77 Hz.

Power: minimal.

Quantity session: 1 session per day (in the evening), the course of 10–14 days.

Note: Repeated courses are conducted against the intensive visual stresses when necessary or 3–4 courses per year.

Diagnosis:  Presbyopia (age-related farsightedness).

Duration session: 3–5 minutes.

Quantity session: 1 session per day, the course of 10–14 days.
